She

They said, she stood by the window, all the time.

During the day, she would watch the world making it's move. Young men and women , walking in their confident postures. Starting their new days with bright smiles. It would lighten her up. Sometimes a kid would smile at her and she would giggle.

During the night, she cried by the window. Looking at the empty streets. The window reflected a part of her face, at night. A face she found really hard to "face". So she sobbed, standing by the window, waiting for a new day to blindfold an ugly truth all over again.
